The Chris McCarty Band is already on the brink of a major breakthrough on the national music scene. Logging close to 200 dates a year through the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic, the band has earned significant attention from both fans and the music industry.

The Chris McCarty Band has shared the stage with Guster, Blues Traveler, Pete Yorn, Derek Trucks, Ben Kweller, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, North Mississippi All-Stars, Cowboy Mouth, The Gin Blossoms, Sugar Ray, and The Big Wu, and performed at events including the 50,000 person UF Gator Growl and two 25,000 person presidential campaign rallies in Florida during 2004.

The Chris McCarty Band consistently plays to sold-out houses at their own headlining shows on the East Coast, and has become known as one of the most promising and hardest working bands in the region. They have sold more than 10,000 copies of its first two EP’s and full-length debut, Dreaming In Stereo, which has also received significant commercial radio play.

The Spring of 2006 finds The Chris McCarty Band in Charlottesville, Virginia, recording the follow-up to Dreaming In Stereo alongside phenomenal producer/songwriter Andy Waldeck (Earth To Andy). With new management, an ever-improving live show and new songs coming by the day, The Chris McCarty Band is looking forward to one crazy summer.
