Dan Plowden Band, opening for such acts as Hank Jr., Charlie Daniels, David Allan Coe, Marshall Tucker, Little River Band, Kentucky Head Hunters, and The Atlanta Rhythm Section, The Dan Plowden Band have become a recognized name in the regional college entertainment and festival touring scene. The Dan Plowden Band is a live band that has played college parties, such as sorority and fraternity parties, college events, festivals and clubs. Dan Plowden Band cover list goes through the southern rock and country favorites that are staples in the music industry no matter where you’re from. Their original CD entitled “Dan Plowden” has been played on Americana Stations across the country and even overseas!Produced by Paul Riddle, (original drummer for Marshall Tucker), and performances by several Marshall Tucker Band members, as well as Randy Travis’ former guitar player, it is not hard to see how these guys got their Southern roots. At live shows the live band plays a variety of Southern Rock, Classic Rock, and good ole boy Country favorites!
