About Dean Dollar Band:
It was not uncommon for Dean Dollar to see Jerry Reed, Boots Randolph or Gladys Knight jamming in his living room as a youngster. During the early 50's, Dean's mother and aunt produced a television show "Barn Dance Theater" that aired in Atlanta. His mother was also a songwriter (Brenda Lee - "Just a Little") and often hosted many of industry's' early greats in their home.With this early exposure, it is no surprise that music became Dean Dollar’s career focus. As a teenager Dean Dollar began to play the guitar and write songs, with two singles airing on local radio stations in Atlanta. Dean Dollar later formed the Dean Dollar Band and recruited some of the finest musicians in the south. The group has been touring the country since 1990 and has opened for such notable groups such as The Charlie Daniels Band, Waylon Jennings and BTO.
The Dean Dollar Band has been well received form Princeton New Jersey to Miami Florida. Dean Dollar has made a name for him self play fraternity parties and sororities all over the southeast and mid west. Dean Dollar has a unique relationship with the audience that is genuinely personal that makes him one of the most exciting live bands in the business. The group performs country favorites new and old and will often take Beach requests. Dean is a BMI songwriter and is currently working on material for a new CD. No matter if you need college entertainment, a band for your nightclub, or have a corporate event Dean Dollar is the perfect fit for your next event.
