About Gabby Johnson:
The members of Gabby Johnson band, Juno Avent, Travis Russell, Joey McBride and Donnie Marrs, are from a small town in Northwest Mississippi, just South of Memphis. The band's grueling schedule gives them the pleasure of playing over 200 shows a year. Intense rehearsal fine tunes the music presented in a live show that is hard to rival. There is energy among the band that can't be explained. Spending 300 days a year together for the past 8 years may help explain how they seem to mesh together like one big musical instrument.Gabby Johnson continues to make a name for themselves, thanks to their ability to appeal to a wide variety of fans such as fraternities and sororities all over the southeast. Their faithful fans have voted them Entertainer of the Year in the “Desoto County Best of the Best Contest” in 2001, 2003, 2004 and 2005, as well as being chosen one of the “Best of the Best” Bands in Memphis, TN, by readers of the “Memphis Flyer” in 2004. The band was chosen as a “BUDWEISER TRUE MUSIC BAND” in 2004 and 2005. In addition to their regional popularity in the mid-south, they have won over audiences from the Florida Keys to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
Gabby Johnson has finished their 3rd CD of original music comprised of a new and unique class of rock and are constantly working on new material. Their main goal is to create live music and entertainment that you and your guests will definitely enjoy.
