Gary Jenkins and Thundering Hearts performed on the private and corporate markets for fifteen years and have shared the stage with “Huey Lewis and the News”, “ Kenny Loggins”, “KC and the Sunshine Band”, “Jay Leno”, “Martina McBride”, “Marty Stuart”, “Diamond Rio”, and “Charlie Daniels”.Although a nationally known corporate convention act, Gary Jenkins and Thundering Hearts perform at private functions and weddings where people want more than the typical dance band. Since Gary Jenkins performs as a comedic emcee at events throughout the year, these skills come in handy for the bride and groom who want to take the party portion of the wedding reception to the next level. Gary Jenkins’ emcee skills, plus the level of excellence and showmanship displayed by the top notch Nashville players in the Thundering Hearts band, create a unique entertainment experience.
Gary Jenkins on weddings: “I take weddings very seriously, even more seriously than our corporate convention shows, I know this is the most important day of the Bride and Groom’s lives and I want to communicate with the Bride and Groom as much as possible so I can give them the exact experience they desire. If they have friends and family members who play or sing or who I might coax into a “spot-light dance”, I’m going to find out this information and be prepared to create that crazy/special/memorable moment. My goal is to help create that photo or video moment where the family and friends are celebrating this event, dancing, and laughing, and having the time of their lives”.
