About Krackerjacks, The:
The Krackerjacks have spent twenty years developing the perfect old-time, rock and roll sound that has culminated an immense demand for this eleven-piece live band. Known for their big horn sound and party-flair, the Krackerjacks have a dynamic, charismatic style that appeals to audiences of all ages.The Krackerjacks have performed for fraternity parties, sorority parties, and provided quality college entertainment at schools, such as Mississippi State University, Ole Miss, University of Alabama, and others throughout the southeast. They have also performed for high school graduations, class reunions, and weddings, such as those of dignitaries: the daughter of Jackie Sherrill, the head football coach at MS State University, and the daughter of Senator Trent Lott of Pascagoula, Mississippi. The Krackerjacks have performed with such great acts as The Spinners, Sam and Dave, Restless Heart, B.B. King, Delbert McClinton, Percy Sledge, Dorothy Moore, Alabama, The Rascals, The Four Tops, The Coasters The Marshall Tucker Band, Johnny Rivers, Bread, The Hollies and Exile at the Greenville Balloon Fest to name a few.
The Krackerjacks consist of 5 male singers a trombone player, two trumpets, one being a female; two alto, tenor and baritone saxophones; two keyboardists; drums; lead guitar and bass guitar.
